Up for sale is a mint condition iRex DR1000s (was there ever any other kind??)

It's a beautiful A4 size 10.2" screen ebook reader, with all original packaging and box. Everything that comes with it is included.

It performs wonderfully, The firmware is on 1.7 (I don't want to try a beta firmware, even though I'm sure it is safe...) No scratches anywhere, this ebook reader is really mint, even the original 1gig sd card it comes with is untouched. I've never had ANY problems with it, no screen/pen issues, no button issues and no usb or sd slot issues. It was always transported around with me in a padded sony laptop carrying case (NOT INCLUDED) so it's been babied.

It was bought from eReader Outfitters in Nov of 2008. I'm located in Vancouver Canada, local pickups fine, but I will ship anywhere for free.

I'm looking for about $550 CAD (of course I did pay more when it first came out but we're not talking about what I paid, we're talking about the value of it today and being one of the only A4 size ereaders, this is really a great machine.)

I can posts some pics, but it's just like all the others out there.

The price was at $600, now is $550. I'm just at the airport right now, I'll be in Japan for a week (I didn't bring the reader with me) so I will send some pics when I get home on the 19th. Thanks for your interest, I don't know how much it is to ship to Romania but I'll still include shipping. I hope you can bear with me for a week.

Would have been good if you have brought it with you. I never respond cos there is rarely any sale in Japan and I dont have a way to pay.

In this part of the ereader-scarce world, you can always get someone who wants to buy a device if the price is decent. I bought a KDX-US right here in Tokyo after checking craigslist. Sorry..guess I was unlucky..

LOL, I was gentle with it and tried to open it but I couldn't. There are no marks or anything on it, nothing loose and no damage. It's really well built, you can be sure that this unit is still in perfect condition. I totally forgot about that, good eye.

It looks OK 2 me....unfortunately is much 2 much for me (thought Canadians have a weaker currency). Thank you for the pictures though.

I am considering buying one but I live in Germany. I suppose it is too far for shipping. And considering all those duties. Have you got any idea how does it work wit duties for germany ? And would you consider sending your DR to Europe ?
