Anyone offer some advice on Windows CE Embedded on SmartQ V7
I have a SmartQ V7 which comes with Windows Embedded CE 6.0 installed. The basic OS works fine, but I can't install any new applications. I have tried using ActiveSync and running the application install, I have also tried putting the CAB file on the device and trying to install it. Both say that the application isn't supported.
I have checked and am pretty sure they software is supported (I have tried quiet a few different bookreaders, Microsoft transcriber - but all fail the same). The V7 is a good little device - but if I can't get WinCE doing installs its a bit useless as the basic readers and utilities are pretty limited. Any help, advice, guidance or direction would be much appreciated An E-Book, SmartQ and Windows CE newbie ![]() ![]() Last edited by PeterGammage; 06-18-2010 at 06:01 PM.
