Hello!
As evidenced by my display name, I'm somewhat slow to accept new things. My interest in readers has grown from a need at work to chuck my dozens of tech manuals, and have noticed wife reads nearly ALL of her books with her Blackberry now (with reading glasses, of course) Had NO idea a community such as this was out there, fascinating as heck. My primary thing is pdf's, and from lurking/researching on your forum, am leaning toward Sony 600. Will see. At any rate, nice to meet you

Have you found the wiki entry on readers yet? And definitely check out the 'which one should I buy' forum.

I love my PRS600 but not sure it would be my first choice for technical manuals.

Good luck, Jud. There are some eink devices out there that do a good job with PDFs. And, of course, the new Apple iPad will handle them very well if you don't mind a backlit screen.
