The one on Michigan Ave in Chicago. I'm home now, so I'm going to call out to Best Buy and see if they have what I want.

I live in the back of a backwaters. I called the Mac Guys, the local Apple dealer and was told that they were not being allowed to sell iPads. I called the local Best Buy and they said that they weren't sure if they were going to stock the 64GB 3G model, because it is "Probably too expensive." Argh. I went on line and ordered it. 4 - 7 days until shipped. |

Well, you'll get it soon enough!! I lucked out at my apple store when I bought the wi-fi only 16 GB. Put in a reservation at the apple store, the next day they had one, probably from someone backing out of theirs.

One week wait isn't too bad. I waited 2 months for the Kindle DX. Enjoy your 64gb 3g iPad. I have the same one (using it right now) and the one thing I recommend is to disable automatic backups in iTunes once you start filling this thing up. iTunes wants to backup your iPad every time you sync, but a multi gb backup takes forever. This free program will disable auto backups: http://www.digidna.net/products/backoff |

I find the backups extremely frustrating with a 64Gb iPod Touch, they are normally about 5 minutes, but every now and then will take literally forever, last time I cancelled after more than 6 hours. | |

Well, I got lucky with my non-3G. I expected it to be sold out when I entered the store, but there it was. And now I am happily browsing the Net with it, and I must admit, it's a great experience. One accessory I am dying to get, but it seems to be even harder to find than a 3G, is the Camera Connection Kit. ;( |
