Smile Conversion Through Web UI

Hi,
My family and myself (scattered in various states and even countries!) are becoming more and more ebook oriented... We all have our own ebook readers of various types (kindles, pb360's, blackberries, etc) and are merging our fairly large book collection to one place.

We already have it all available on a (secure) website through apache, but are having a little difficulty with the different formats (some of us like fb2, others like prc, and so on), which is where we thought Calibre would be awesome - it supports all the formats (I've) ever heard of, and even has a web interface.

What would be great would be if we could do the conversions on the fly - by which I mean, selecting a certain book (through the web interface), and then picking which format to download it in, which as far as I can tell, Calibre doesnt do (unless we convert all the books to the formats we want ahead of time).

Does anyone have any tips/suggestions?

Thanks

I'm afraid there's no way to do conversion via the web interface.

Interesting idea as to whether conversion via the web interface might be something to consider as a feature for the future?

I would find it useful as at the moment I convert all books to a number of formats, and I could then avoid it until the format was actually needed.

I think there's a feature request open for it already.
