Hi, I was wondering how good the Opus is with displaying pdfs. Feedback is appreciated

5" in general is small for pdf.
That really depends on how the pdf is formated.

Reading pdf on my archos IT is nicer than with the opus. But the opus overmatch the archos when it comes to reading ePubs.
tactile lcd make it easier to move, zoom and all.

I read pdf books everyday on Bookeen Opus and it does it very well. With the automatic zoom and edge's cut, it is very readable and practical.
It depends also on the original size of the pdf book. But normally, if you turn your Opus and use its length as width for your ebook, it's larger and it's good for reading.

Well, it is a 5" device, but as pointed out before, you can turn it in landscape mode (no problem with the accelerometer ) and then it's not terribly difficult to manage. It also depends on the pdf formatting, of course, above all on margin size and font size (but, in this last occurrance, it's something you can change with zoom!).

Impressive! That's very good, given that most of the readers are on the 6" size. And having a file redone for a 6" screen would be far easier to read on a 5" than the usual A4 we're usually fed.

It's easier. I have a 6" PDF book and it fits nice at Opus.
