I'll reserve judgment until we know the actual price. At any rate, the 680 is not meant to push the envelope, but rather to bring the smartphone to the mid-end market.

I like the lack of an antenna. I'll keep an eye on this one for my wife who insists that she can't carry a cell and an organizer. I told her we could fix that.
I may be interested in it myself, now that I'm not reading on my Palm anymore. ![]() |

This device is definitely not groundbreaking or earth shattering in any regards. It's a bit more toned-up, though, when comparing even against the 700p. But someone above nailed it right on the head: It is meant for price competition in the low to mid markets, so that Palm can expand their "influence".
If it does indeed go at around $200 to $250, I'll definitely be getting some for my family. They keep drooling over mine, but wrinkle their nose when they see how much I paid for mine. |
