since I finally ordered my first iLiad I'll take the chance to introduce myself although I already wrote some messages within the last months.

I'm your average developer and admin from Bochum, Germany.
I have to do a lot reading and I like sitting in the sun in my garden.
So I constantly curse current consumer (*) display technology.

I think that non-drm ebooks are a great idea, for example the ones available at http://pragmaticprogrammer.com/ especially the beta-books. Somehow they manage to publish an improved version of a pdf-book I own as soon as I printed 200 pages on a dead tree.
My iLiad might save a forest or two per year.

I'm really looking forward to hacking around once the SDK is released and my Iliad might be a candidate for a de-bricking per quartal :-)

And since you are from Bochum, you must be a Grönemeyer fan, right?

Of course I am - in the same way that all guys from switzerland are addicted to chocolate :-)
At least I have been to some of his concerts in my life.
