For over a year my eldest son kept trying to persuade me to get an iPhone and I couldn't see why I needed all that technology when I only made phone calls. I gave in to him on New Year's Eve, discovered Stanza for iPhone, then calibre and I haven't put the phone down since!

I hope to retire to Spain later this year so my plan is to get as many of my books in epub format so I don't have to lug huge boxes of them with me.

Looking forward to being part of the community.

Hi Morningtown and welcome to MobileRead. If you like the iPhone, you might also consider an eInk device like the Kindle or the Sony. I have both a Sony and an iPhone and much prefer reading on the Sony.
