USB Power

Hi,

When I connect my PRS-600 through the usb on my computer, it charges just fine.

But when I connect my sperate USB charger (5V 1A) to the reader it won't charge. Or worse, I get the feeling it is draining the battery on the device.

Does anyone know what the specs of an USB charger should be to charge the PRS-600?

The Sony Reader will not charge through a USB mains charger - you need a charger which connects to the circular charger socket, not the USB socket. The Reader has the same power requirements as the PSP, so any cheap PSP charger will work just fine.

The A/C or mains charger specs are:

Input Voltage
100-240V 50/60Hz 0.26A

Output Power
5.2V 2000mA

*edit* to charge with the barrel end charger
