Newspapers on ebook readers?

Hey, has anyone seen anything materialize yet with the rumored move of newspapers into ebook form? I heard a lot of talk about this for a while, and then suddenly nothing.

There was a discussion in the German forum about some eReader with a stunning price of 1 euro... which of course was just the way to sell 2 years of newspaper subscription.
