Web Browsing Blocked with Firmware 2.0
Just to let users know in advance of doing the upgrade. If you are used to doing a little web browsing with your DR800SG then you will be disappointed to find that this is no longer possible after upgrading to Firmware 2.0.

A shame really, it was nice to be able to download books from Gutenburg and other such sites. Not to mention checking email.

If you install the old browser (source available at the dev site) on the SD card, it still works just fine with the new firmware for happy unlimited 3G browsing. Required a bit of hacking to work around vanishing SDK functions. I'm not going to post hacked source or binaries because it's just a LIIIIIITTLE BIT horribly dishonest, those "in the know" can figure it out themselves

Technically, this was against the ToS anyway. Not surprising that they blocked it.

You'll just have to study CS until you're a sufficiently proficient programmer to do it yourself, at which point you will have likely lost interest.

I have purchased a DR800S (which is the european version without 3G modem), and it has firmware 1.0 installed, where can I find the 2.0 firmware?
