Lightbulb Suggestion for Pocket Pro

As much as I hate to admit it, my eyes are not what they used to be. <sigh>

I say this because the print on the PEz popup menus is REALLY small. It's difficult enough to read in regular light, but in dim light, it's next to impossible!

Anyone else experienced this? That is, if you're not afraid to admit it.

Maybe if enough of us talk about it here on the forum, the tech guys at Astak will help us out.

Oh ... I thought the font setting was for the ebook font size. Thanks for the tip. It helps. A little.

I only have one page of fonts. Is there a reason I have less than you?

Dear Writernan:

You should have 9 fonts to choose from on the Pocket PRO.

However, if you go to the FAQ sheet (www.EZreader.com under "support") you will find good instructions on how to download additional fonts. You may find that ideal font that you need.

The #8 button increases the font size and in EPUB and PDF you now have 9 font size choices (added per the last firmware upgrade).

If you have any "connecting to the computer" problems please call: 1-866-368-8788. They are easy to talk with!

What Writernan is asking for is larger fonts in menus, which are currently all using a small (fixed) font size. Changing to a heavier font helps, but the font size is very small.

There is no reason why a menu can't take up more of the screen. The argument against a very large font size is that some menu items will them overflow the screen. However, a larger font size than the current one should be possible without running into this "menu too big" issue.

I like lbooks menues and folder display better than what is used on the PEz. There is the minor problem that some menus are only in Russian.

EXACTLY!

I tried one of the other fonts as suggested by theducks but it made little difference.
