Aluratek Libre Color

Not too long ago, I gave my sister in law a used Aluratek Libre Color. She has been using it a lot. But she says it has started shutting down while she is reading, and restarting. Frequently. Any ideas why that would be happening? Is the battery going bad? Or something else?

The battery would be my first guess as well. You might google/research methods to restore a failing internal Li battery and battery replacement.

She reformatted the internal memory via the device menu, and says it is working better now, but still doing it occasionally. I guess it will work, for now. I've ordered (from ebay) a Jetbook Lite and an Aluratek Pro, one of which I will probably give to her. I plan to keep the other, I am on a 5" reader kick, should have kept the Jetbook I had in the past! Good little readers.

I still have my JBLs but I am doing most of my reading on a Kobo AuraHD now.

I like the looks of that Aura....but I like the 5" sized readers. Hoping for a Kobo Mini Glo.
