What does it do?

Something to do with the IDs authentication?

erm. sorry. This is the fix for the CURLE_SSL_CACERT-Error a user from forum.irexnet.com experienced. It prevented him from updating properly from v2.4 because the date on the iliad isn't set. the iRex forum doesn't allow file uploads, so i uploaded it here.

Ok...I had that error right at the beginning and had my device exchanged...:-)
Now it seems that would not have been neccessary...^^

Goody Work DHer.

btw...I thought this kind of eror couldn't happen anymore because there is a fix in the firmware that prevents it???

There is. The problem is: new iliads still ship with v2.4

So the problem remains. Anyway, a quick google for CURLE_SSL_CACERT returns the solution, now
