Tried connecting to IDS a few times, once I got "Download complete" without anything new coming down, then a failed connect, then "Download complete" without anything new again.

So I guess they are still sorting their server out...

on the connection screen keep getting "unsuccessful" are other people getting that too?

Give it a couple of hours and then try again, looks like all their ducks aren't quite yet in a row server-wise

Maybe they sent the announce too soon or by mistake. They must be as excited as us with these new features. :-)

They said like "Will be available on July 25th"...so maybe it'll be sometime during the day...

they said "double battery life" a while ago, but that text was removed.

Sooo downloaded the 2.5 preupdate... lets what happens now...

Sticking to the described procedure... steady now...
Turning the Iliad back on after preupdate...

Seems to be a big update, as it takes at least 5-10 min to download the real upgrade...

I just sent a mail asking when the update can be expected...I guess the answer is NOW...^^

Done the preinstall, now downloading the main update (although there is no indicated progress, it went from 0% to no percentage displayed at all and the light isn't flickering, I hope that's normal)...
