Help! I Can't Open iSiloX!

I need help, please.

I have/had isSilox beta 3.35 beta4 installed on my work NT 4.0 PC which regularly successfully updated my links per schedule and dumped them into the BlueSync folder from which I hotsynced to expansion cards on my beloved Handers 330.

I've observed that when turning on the computer after a weekend of being off-- that iSiloX sometimes automatically opened and updated all links-- which was very cool.

Today, Monday, I can't open iSiloX-- either by shortcut or by direct .exe file or by .ixl file-- I get a Dr. Watson "access violation" notice.

Could this be because I tried opening before some automatic Monday morning update? -- or before my regularly scheduled updating? Will this all resolve itself at my regularly scheduled 12.01 noon updates? It has worked so wonderfully automatically during mid-week days-- I'm confused.

Thanks for any help. I love this forum.

Marty, could you send a quick email to Darren (info@isilo.com) and describe your problem or send him a link to this forum thread?

I haven't seen your problem before, so I am puzzled.

Well, my problem was simple-- I found I had virtually NO MEMORY left on my work computer -- which is really a drone to the network where the drives with big memories are located.

When I tried to run iSiloX from the drone’s C drive, there wasn't enough space for iSiloX it to work!

Since I recently installed BlueSync to provide a method for syncing iSiloX-converted content to the SD and CF cards of my beloved Handera 330, I have the almost 128mb X 2 (including Pocket TV Browser, WorldNet Dictionary & Thesaurus, and the full WikiPedia Encyclopedia) running on my cards and backed up on my C drive.

So now I am relocating all the Palm-related syncing & backing-up programs-- and their collective content-- to a network drive.

Funny how my PC was overwhelmed by a quantity of data that my beloved HE330 handles easily and gracefully.

Thanks
Marty
