Just joined this forum, very interested in purchasing an ebook reader, kindle looks good but will probably wait for apples announcement this month.
As a biker that camps out a lot, and sail regularly I'm after the portability!

An Ereader is a great way to take your library with you. It is the difference between taking a backpack with 5-10 books with you or taking up 5 -300+ books with you. Just don't drop it in the drink when you are sailing.
