conversion options in Calibre

Hello,
i've about 100 books in Calibre, each one in both formats pdf and rtf, that i want to convert to fb2. I prefer that Calibre makes the conversion from the rtf file (not from pdf) to fb2, but if i select the "bulk convert" option i cannot choose the origin's format.
how could i be sure that Calibre will use the origin file that i want, without converting my books one by one?

Another question: i've a Boox (6' screen), but my e-reader is not present as output profile in the "page setup" screen of calibre. Which is the profile that could reach the best results with my reader? Maybe the "Sony reader" one?

You can choose conversion format priority in Preferences

2) yes use the sony profile
