I received an email from BN.com that stated that all ebooks carried by BN would be discounted 15% through January 8 if you pay with a MasterCard.

Confirmed that the 15% discount is applied when you check out.

Enter the BN.com site via Bing.com's cashback store link and get another 10% in cashback.

Are this ebook in epub format? I'm only see the Buy Now button but since I have a Sony device, I can't receive it immediately. How can I download the book after buying it? (Considering it is a supported format).

Some end up in EPUB, some in eReader. It seems to also make a difference which software you use to get it, as some using the B&N Reader claimed to get an EPUB of a book that I received in eReader format (I just clicked on Download).

B&N does not tell you anywhere, which format you'll receive.
