PRS600. Greetings from Canada!

Started reading ebooks in 2002, mostly books from Gutenberg, using various PDAs and then a netbook.

The PRS600 is a Christmas gift for myself. Also bought an 8GB SDHC card for it, and have so far loaded 625 books (in text, pdf, and ePub formats) and 34 songs onto the reader.

I am fast becoming addicted to using the reader. The E INK technology makes all the difference, IMHO.

Still cannot believe how slow and buggy the Reader Library software is though.

Welcome to MobileRead, maidestone.

Don't forget, if your local library has a good selection of ebooks in epub or pdf, you can download them to your computer, and then to your Sony.

Enjoy. PS..........and don't forget to download some of the great books available here!

Hi maidestone and welcome to MobileRead. The US MR members specifically requested the forum no longer allow Canadians to join until you stop sending those Alberta Clippers down here. But, did they listen?

Anyway, enjoy your 600. I've had a 505 for two years and really like it.
