'Group by' option

Does calibre have any sort of option to group your library by author, collection etc, so that not all ebooks are displayed in the list (like all books by Stephen King could be shown just as "Stephen King" with a + beside it and clicking the + would expand a tree with all the Stephen King books displayed only then) ?

I love calibre but find if very confusing sorting through a list of 100s of books (even when sorted by author). Would be nice to have some sort of Group display or Folder system.

Any help/info would be appreciated.

Have you tried clicking on the large "Label" icon near the bottom right of the Calibre window?

Not EXACTLY what I was looking for since you have to de-select any author you click before clicking another, but it's close enough I suppose =)

Thanks for the quick reply.

If you type "Stephen King" or any other author, in the "search" bar, it will immediately go to that authors books....

If you have tagged your books, you can type in the genre and get the same results.....

Is that what you are looking for?
