12 Months of Learnings About eBooks in 40 Minutes

Surprised nobody has posted this here. Michael Tamblyn (Kobo's EVP Content, Sales & Merchandising) presented a 40-minute talk on the eBook industry at BookNet Canada’s Technology Forum 2010.

I'm sure a lot of it is old hat (or common sense) to readers on these forums (and yes, I see that some of you were actually at this talk), but he's an excellent presenter:

I found the analysis of consumer reading/buying habits fascinating (and true), and the insight on pricing models was especially enlightening (and again it only reinforced the common-sense thinking that ebooks should be some amount cheaper than their paper equivalents.)
