Hello all - I have an issue I hope someone can help me with. I have downloaded the Sony library to my PC (Vista). I have McAfee. When I first installed the software I was able to buy, open, read my books but now I can't. The library bombed during reading a book and then I couldn't get it to open again. Error (Reader Library has stopped working). Windows can't determine a solution so now I have 10 books out there I can't access.

Unfortunately, they are all in LRX version so I can't convert using my extension conversion program (only works on LRF).

Has anyone else had this same issue and what did you do to correct? After about 2 hours on the phonewith Sony (remove antivirus, etc.) it's still not working.

Hi houde7129 and welcome to MobileRead. I'm running XP Pro and have never had the problem you mentioned so can't advise but someone will log on and have an answer.

I'm sorry you are having a problem. I haven't upgraded my Sony Library yet. I'm waiting a while for all the problems to be worked out. I have been reading all the threads in the Sony Forums to get an idea of what to do if and when I upgrade the Library.

You might want to go check out some of the threads started by others with problems and even post in that section. Good Luck. I have faith that it will be worked out soon.
