Reading in the bath - what's your preference?

Before moving over to ebooks, I read plenty of treebooks in the bath. Some got wet, including a library book which I had to replace.

I wasn't sure how I was going to read ebooks in the bath without damaging my ereader in some way. So instead I pop my iPod into a waterproof bag, leave it on the side and listen to an audiobook. I've discovered that this is a lot more relaxing than reading a book and probably suits me better.

Anyone else partial to reading in the bath / jacuzzi / swimming pool / in the sea etc? And how'd you do it!

I always read naked... That is, both me and my reader. As it is much easier to hold and go to the next page, there's just no chance of it falling into the water...

Have a nice, short, shower. Read afterwards. Much safer for the reader, and more environmentally friendly

There's environmentally friendly and spoiling yourself once a while... I'd agree mostly with you, except there are nights (mostly cold winter nights) when I just can't seem to warm up. I could try to heat up the house (which is a pain, considering the size and age of it and somehow that just never really works anyway) or just fill the tub and go soaking in some hot water for an hour...

Kinda off-topic, but here you are... (you can see that at least my toes are naked!) This picture was taken with my Loox... (one advantage of using your PDA as ereader, especially if it has a camera!)

Sweetpea - great pic of your cat attacking your toes! Useful for stopping you falling asleep in the bath.

I see showers as functional but baths are a real chance to relax and unwind - And have a bit of peace! Important after the chaos of being with young children all day. I often take drinks in and have also been known to eat ice cream in the bath. If you're going to do something - do it to the max!

Why would I eat and drink in the tub? It's a time for relaxation, meditation almost.

Glass of red wine and a ziploc around my Reader...the ultimate relaxation. Although I hadn't thought about an audio book. That does sound appealing!
