Hi everyone,

I'm Rob from Staffordshire in the UK, and am the very proud owner of a brand new iRiver Story ereader.

Still have a few concerns about the price and availability of books in the UK for non kindle ebooks, but am loving my new "toy" anyway.

MR has free ebooks that have been beautifully handcrafted by some very dedicated MR members. (I believe that they are better formatted than Google books.)

Hi Rob

I'm from Surrey and I too have recently bought an iRiver Story. Generally I'm pleased with it. I bought a 16GB SD card and have put quite a lot of my music on it.

The first thing I did was to test it with a pdf file and I thought that it was was very easy to read so then I went out and bought a copy of Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall from the Waterstones on-line shop. I am currently reading it, and I have to say that I can see why it won the Booker Prize last year.

Enjoy your new piece of kit.
