505 Display Formatting...me no likey

Am I the only one who is rather annoyed with the display formatting on the sony readers? So I recently got some adobe digital edition books. When I enlarge the text big enough to read (ie medium size), the pages get off. Every third page or so, is only a half page or less. Sometimes it will only have a few words on it.

Do kindle edition books suffer this annoying shortcoming? I am thinking about switching to kindle for this reason and also for the obvious content advantages of that device. Hmmm wonder about the nook as well.

What do you all think?

What you've got is a PDF. The Sony reflows PDFs, but doesn't join the pages. That's why there is a gap between them. Not all ADE books are necessarily ePubs, sorry!

For a better reading experience, you might try a 1:1 view. If the text is too small like that, try landscape view!

The problem is that some shops sell PDF as Adobe Digital Editions. ePub they do say ePub. So don't get the book unless it says ePub.

Well, that wouldn't be that big a problem if the PDF-format was somewhat adapted to a smaller screen so that it remains readable on devices like netbooks, MIDs, tablets and readers, but normally they aren't at all! I guess there are not a lot of people around reading a novel on a big screen! Random House, for example has nice PDFs that can be read without an effort on a small screen!

As I don't buy PDF, I don't know who has good ones. I tend to stay away from PDF.
