Where are the books from my CD?

When I bought my 505 I got a CD with 100 classics (as I suspect did most, if not all buyers, despite the salesman telling me it was a very special
offer

I was keen to get started so put them into my Sony E-library, and thence onto my Reader. Fine so far. Then the Sony E-library stopped working, and I still can't get it to work.

I downloaded Calibre the Wonderful Saviour, and all my ebooks books are now in my Calibre library except for the free classics. I'd really like to put them into my Calibre library but I can't find them on the PC. Could some kind soul tell me where they will have been put when I originally loaded them from the CD?

Thanks all.

Do a search for ".lrx" files. You'll probably find them somewhere like "My Documents\My eBooks" or something like that. Note that they will not be recognisable names - they'll just be what look like random numbers and letters.

To be honest, though, I wouldn't bother; we have much nicer versions of them all right here at MR.

Ooh that's weird, nothing came up. I must have had a clearout and then forgot I'd taken them off. Thanks for the tip anyway Harry, and I will take your advice and get them in their nicer versions from here.
