Snappy, here is a try I've been using when sending invites to people. Send yourself an invite to a secondary e-mail of yours. The mail you receive contains the invitation link - don't click on it, but just send it (or pm it) to the person who asked for an invite

I have found that the link on Google's site doesn't work for me. It always fails on the graphic text recognition.

I loaded this up yesterday and chatted with a friend. It's pretty fast and works really well.
Only downside: you can only talk to Google Talk buddies. If anyone has figured out how to import other protocols in the BB version, I'd love to hear it. I recall this problem with the desktop version too. |
