I think they hit the store a few days ago, but were reported here only for Kindle.

The Hunters is a novella lead-in to an upcoming novel in Pinter's sereis.

Witch and Wizard, of course, is just a free sample/sneak peak.

I don't know about anybody else but I am grateful for the many freebies offered by Sony over the last few months.

They have introduced me to authors I would not have otherwise read.

Reading the customer reviews on Amazon for these two "previews" (one customer said "The Hunters" is not really a novella), most customers are irritated by these marketing ploys. Though as you point out, "The Hunters" may be required reading if you want to read his upcoming novel.

This has been offered by Sony before for free.

So all-in-all, for most of us, there's nothing here that's worth the bother of opening up the eBook Library Software.

"The Hunters" is the bridge between the recently released "The Fury" and the soon-to-released "The Darkness".
If you haven't read "The Fury" before "The Hunters" it probably won't make much sense.
