Trying to convert a txt book to epub format

Windows XP Pro. Calibre 6.13

It means that for some reason Calibre is unable to open it's metadata.db file. Do you have any other processes running that might want to use this file?

I have a problem with Calibre too.
When trying to install the 0.6.13 version, this message appears:
