Export sdl for other users_dir name (sunrise file for all the Nebula Awards 2006)
Hello.
I've made a sdl file for all the Nebula Awards available freely on the web. I want to propose this file here in the forum. But I've some questions ![]() First : do you think it's legal (I think it is) and do you want this file on the forum ? Second : where on the forum ![]() Third : when I convert to pdb, the script need a directory name to store the converted .pdb. On my pc it's /home/XXXX/NEBULA/ I don't think it'll be correct for other users. If I don't put anything in the dir field, I don't find the .pdb on my disk. Is there a location that I can put that will fit all users ? Thanks for this tools. Thanks to put it in open source licence ![]() Ph |

Hey filip,
1. Depends on what exactly your SDL is doing... are you downloading a list of the Nebula Awards, or are you downloading the actual awarded books? 2. The Sunrise forum is a good place to start with ![]() 3. I don't know the answer to this. |

1 : It download all the stories legally available on the web (and in fact also the list).
In general directly from the editor/journal/author web site. I intent to put only the sdl file, not the .pdb (That will be not legal I think). 2. Ok ![]() 3. I'll try again this evening ![]() Thx. |

It's not possible to put in a "dynamic" destination directory. The user can, however, use the "Paste Special" command to get around this.
The effect is that the document's settings are copied, but the destinations are set to the defaults set by the user. |
