HELP!! Need to know Shipping Weight and Dimension of the PRS-505

Hi Fellowship of MobiReaders Forum..

I wanted PRS-505 so much that I out done myself by buying 5 of those
through ebay auction. Now I need to mail the units back to where I am in
Jakarta through my kind friend (bless her soul

) in the US

.

Now I need to know the Shipping weight and Shipping dimensions of the SONY PRS-505 Unit. If any of you kind fellow have that information. Please shout me a reply.

Why do you need to know the weight? Surely it's the person who's sending to you who needs to know, and she can just weigh them, can't she?

She's out of town for the weekend.

I want to calculate everything and check out all the US courier service
on the net to see which one is cheaper. (Shipment Insured Of Course)

If you want the dimensions of the unit itself, you can find them in the 505 Wiki entry.

But more likely you need to know the specifications for the box it ships in, including all packaging.

The box mine came in is approximately 6" wide x 8.5" tall x 1.75" deep. Unfortunately, I don't know its weight when it has the reader inside with all packaging, but since the reader itself is 9oz, I'm sure it can't be over 1 lb. Maybe someone else will know.

(Rather amusingly, Amazon lists its shipping weight as 7 lbs., but that makes no sense. Do they ship it with 6.5 lbs of packaging?)
