Tumor - Chapters 2 and 3 (Kindle Exclusive)

Tumor: Chapter 2, by Joshua Hale Fialkov and Noel Tuazon, is out and priced at 99 cents. You can still pick up Chapter 1 as a free download, if you missed it when it was released.

Warning: The language used in quite adult and there is graphic violence (albeit, in black and white). Nothing that a typical adolescent boy isn't already reading (and in color), but it may not be suitable for the very young.

Book Description
Frank Armstrong has an inoperable brain tumor that’s killing him. In his final days, with his body, senses, and mind failing him, he’s going to do the one thing that he’s never been able to do before… save the girl.

The Chapter 3 appears to have been submitted to Amazon's DTP system, but with the new screening they are doing, it has been stuck in the "not yet available" status for about a week. There is no price indicated yet, but I'd expect it to be the same 99 cents as Chapter 2.

In the meantime, Fialkov's short story The Belly Button Reset ($0.99) was submitted two days later (according to the publication dates), but is already available. They must be checking the graphic novels by hand and have a more automated system to check text based books.

They want 99c a chapter, and 99c for a short story? Are they mad, whoever they may be?

That's what the kid at Radio Shack asked me when I said I wanted to cross a diode rectifier with a capacitor input filter.

"Are you Mad?" he asked.

"No," I replied. "You'll see. You'll all see!!!"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Now THAT'S humorous. Also, the avatar of the dog sitting on the plucked chicken also has my goat.

I thought it was sitting on a cat (it's kinda tiny -- how would it get the chicken to stand for being plucked while still in a sittable condition?)

Maybe it's the dreaded ChickenCat!!

Half chicken, half cat - this horrible fiend terrorizes all.

With claws like razor blades and a beak that can puncture almost all brands of aluminum foil, it roams the countryside searching for marzipan (because that's what the ChickenCat eats.)

It apparently also steals goats. Probably just to be evil.

Chaos and fear rule until the heroic dog neutralizes the monster by sitting on its head.

All hail the conquering dog!!
