Marla Mason prequel serialized

This topic already has a thread in the Reading Recommendation forum, but I think it might draw more interest here.

Back in the early waves of suvudu free library ebook offerings, there's a novel (book 1) of Marla Mason series by Tim Pratt titled Blood Engine. It's a fantasy novel, and after I read the first book, i went to find more and got the following 3 ebooks of the series from bob and amazon.
I contacted the author asking for the schedule of the next Book (#5). While the reply was quick, sad news was that there might or might not be Book #5.
Now, at http://www.marlamason.net/boneshop the author is offering free serialized prequel of his series (up to Chapter 10 now). He also has the paypal piggybank for readers to donate and support him.

I saw this book was free on Fictionwise as well, if anyone needs a different format than suduvu offers.

I recommend this. I've read the first few novels, and this is actually well superior. There's another short story or two that are also better.

the title "Blood Engines" (with the 's') is is no longer free - as of this date: Sept. 6, 2006. Currently, no book by Pratt is free at Fictionwise.

It's priced at $6.45, if you are a Member. Currently, no book by Pratt is free at Amazon.

At Amazon it's $5.59.

Looks like it was one that aged out of the Suvudu Free library - there have been 9 or 10 titles that were free last week at Amazon that no longer are. Several of those were from Suvudu.
