Hello!
I've been reading ebooks on my computer for a few years now, but I've recently started reading on my phone (a Nokia E71). I thought that reading on a small screen would strain my eyes since I have very bad eyesight, but I've found that using eReader with the largest font size doesn't strain my eyes at all. I'm mostly reading books from Baen's free library at the moment.

Hi sapphiresilver and welcome to MobileRead. I used to read on an iPaq but switched to an eInk reader (Sony 505) and really lie it.

Thanks, everyone. I was considering looking at e-ink readers, but not much is available in Australia, I wasn't sure they would have a big enough font size for me, and I figured why spend that much money when my phone does the job. An e-ink reader might be good for my sister, though. She has very bad eyesight as well, and backlights hurt her eyes. I just have to convince her to have a look at one.
