Am thinking of buying a Sony PS505. It sounds great by the reviews.

SHould I buy it and what else can I do with it besides read books?

Considering it is a dedicated ebook reader device, not much.

I'll bite... Why would you expect you could do other things with it?

I use it to prevent paper from blowing away in the breeze, and also to shield my eyes from direct sunlight occasionally.

You can also use it to meet geeks.

Note that the PRS-505 is being discontinued, and replaced by the PRS-300 and PRS-600.

You can listen to MP3s, but the device is more of a dedicated READING device. If you like to read, this or any number of other computer brands may make you very happy.

Neither one is really a "replacement" though. The 505 is sweet. Although I really like the 300, and just shake my head at the 600.
