Dray Prescot omnibus

You know, I gotta confess something here: I love Kenneth Bulmer. Ya know, he of the many pseudonyms and the tons of works to his credit.

As Alan Burt Akers, he was the creator of the saga of Dray Prescot. I always loved to emerge myself in the worlds of Kregen.

I know it's heavily inspired by Burroughs and Howard (Almuric), but I guess it's just the kind of stories I like. Anyway, Mushroom e-books has all of Dray's adventures published in multiformat on Fictionwise.

There is even an omnibus of the first five novels (of 45 available) with a special price tag: 14.99$ is a really good price for this biggie!

Yes, indeed. I agree with you.

I purchased books 1 and 2 about one year ago, and the current Omnibus price is very, very good.

I actually have an original typescript of one of his stories (back in the U.S.). This is not a carbon. It was originally published. I have about 35 original short story typescripts in my collection.

There was also a new novel featuring Dray Prescoot - but not by Bulmer - that I purchased from Fictionwise.

I have yet to read it. If you're curious about it, I'll get the name of it for you.

Oh yes, please.

Mushroom does publish adventures never before available in English, btw, (they're up to #45 now), as the last novels were only published in German (the english editor had offed Bulmer, but there's a huge fan following in Germany so the German editor still published Bulmer's books)

The Dray Prescot novel is entitled, "Under the Suns of Antares" by Tim Jones.

I bought it from Fictionwise, and it's available in Multiformat.
