Msmobiles.com visited by HTC lawyer
If you recently read something on upcoming HTC devices, chances are that it first appeared on msmobiles.com, from where rumors around HTC were spreading and leaking like a sieve (often accompanied with yummy hi-res photos). But not so anymore. Someone at HTC must have run mad and called their lawyers to stop msmobiles.com from posting any more news around the company. With success, as most HTC-related posts have now been removed:

Very interesting to say the least. I dont know exactly what that one lawyer did, but it was enough to get those pics removed. Usually there is a "we were asked to remove this info message" but you even have to dig in the forums there for that one. Very interesting, and I wonder what other sites will be getting this specific letter.

Strange still that HTC hasnt said anything officially either, tis a weird one.

That forum thread was weird also. Seems either the MSMobiles folks are batty or the lawyer is! On the surface it sounds like the lawyer is not a legit representative of HTC and is just trying to make a buck by impersonating a role. But you just can't judge from the info we've seen, so I hope it is worked out one way or the other peacefully.
