Hello
I just joined the forum and wanted to say hi and provide a little background.

Like many forum members, I am an avid reader. I just became aware of gutenberg.org and similar sites and immediately concluded that this was for me. So, I need a reader and that is my immediate goal in this forum.

I would also like to use the reader to view and transport financial and other data. I store all of this information in PDF format, so this will be a factor in my buying decision. Using the reader for this purpose may not be feasible, but it's something I want to learn about.

My operating system is Ubuntu Linux, which may complicate matters. Hopefully, there are some forum members who use this OS.

Anyways, that's about it.
