Unnatural Death (1927) Also published as “The Dawson Pedigree” Lord Peter Wimsey investigates the apparently natural death of an old lady. Are the heirs up to no good? And is there an undetectable means of committing murder? Note: the novel is very much of its time and some of the more unpleasant characters display racist attitudes towards a black person, including the use of the “N” word. The author may have intended a criticism of such attitudes. |
