Small HTML file won't finish converting

I've just made a very short HTML file to see how the output looks in mobi. The document has only a cover and a one page trial TOC. The HTML is valid.

The same file was accepted and a prc file built by Mobipocket Creator, but the HTML didn't work the way I wanted it to.

But the document won't finish converting with Calibre. The little hour glass has been spinning for about half an hour.

So far as I know I've done everything correctly. What can I do?

Sometimes I've found that calibre occasionally hangs on some conversions for no particular reason.
Try stopping the job and trying again - this often works for me.
