Hello to everyone!

Hi to new and expert alike . I have been trolling the boards for a few weeks and note the high regard members have for the PRS-505 (at least, from those who purchased one). I live in Israel and will be visiting with my sister in England this summer. I definitely plan to buy a PRS-505 while there and believe a price of less than £200 will do it.

Does anyone have any information on Sony international warranties? I really need the UK warranty to be valid in Israel - anyone?

Admin: If the above "help" is not appropriate to this board, please move it and let me know where it has been placed. Thank you.

Hi Winter57 and welcome to MobileRead. I've had a Sony 505 since Jan 08 and really like it. Not sure about international warranties but I expect one or more of our members are and will log in and answer your question soon.

Hi Winter57. Welcome to MR

I can't help with your questions, but someone will come along who can. If you don't get an answer in "Introduce Yourself", you might try another message in one of the Sony-specific forums (see https://www.mobileread.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=100)

Welcome! I agree with Kaz and Rlparker--post in the Sony forum, people read those more frequently.
