This is my first look at this forum, I received a Kindle for dads day. Cassidym stopped by the Pentagon earlier and strongly recommended I join. Here I am looking to learn.

Lots of very helpful people, stuff to learn, and free ebooks here on MR.

I have the Sony 505 and don't know a lot about the Kindle but, there is a very active membership for the Kindle on this forum very willing to help newbies.

Have fun with your new Kindle and exploring the threads for information. Jump in with questions when you need to and someone will answer shortly.

I'm a Sony owner so I'm not familiar with the Kindle, but we have many Kindle owners who will be thrilled to have another Kindler in their midst, and to assist you in any way they can.
