Good evenin'

Hmm, introduce myself huh? I got guilted by the notice about never having posted and so here I am.

I'm new to readers and went with Kindle - K2 in March, DX in June - and I am shocked at how easily I got sucked in. I tried, but just couldn't get into reading on the computers and laptops. But I REALLY enjoy the Kindle.

I'm also into Old Time Radio, movies, computers and fish. And of course, I'm a heavy reader. Since I'm mostly into the dead authors - Dumas, Burroughs, Bowers, Haggard and the like - I'm not concerned about the cost of books, I've got Munsey's to keep me entertained. And I just learned tonight that you have ebooks here as well (not very observant). Looking forward to checking them out.

I found Calibre in an Amazon forum, and Calibre led me here. I have been lurking for a bit and have learned a lot from you. And I've laughed quite a bit as well.

So thanks for the help up to now, it's been invaluable. I hope I will be able to play it forward.

Wellcome to MobileRead waller.

You seem to know your way around already, but if you have any questions just ask here or in the Kindle forum.

If you haven't seen it already, there is a thread called Anyone else like old radio shows? that may interest you.

Have fun browsing and learning lots of great info, being sure to check out the MobileRead Wiki.

Welcome to MobileRead, waller4343!

There is a lot more to MR than just information about readers and ebooks. Check out the lounge, too! We have a lot of fun discussing all kinds of topics.

Happy Reading.

Thanks for the welcomes. And thanks for the hint WetDogEared. I am always amazed where OTR shows up.
