Another newbie
Hello all,
I'm the (mostly) happy owner of a Sony PRS-500 eReader, and I've been looking for new ebooks. Much of what I found online was either pure text or had pages far too large for my device: so I devised a long-winded way of formatting such documents as PDFs to fit my Reader comfortably, and added clear headings, chapter marks and cover images in the process.  5 of my homemade PDF ebooks are now on the ePub upload forum: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49726 https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49724 https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49723 https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49722 https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49720 If I get positive feedback on these, I have a good few more! All are derived from material I found online; however, some of my other files may have potential copyright issues, given the apparent strictness of this forum in such matters.  I hope to make a positive controbution to MobileRead, and I can see I'll never want for reading material again!

Hi NickW, I'm going to try The 'Real' Adrian Mole on my 505, it sounds great.
Thanks for letting us know about the books, I've already downloaded lots from MR and they've all been well produced, and I'm looking forward to trying something a bit different. |
