Hey dropping a line to let you guys and gals know that the latest Palmloyal podcast has been posted.

Palmloyal Podcast #9 (stream, download, feed) was recorded Sunday September 4th, 2005. In the cast, Carl Brooks discusses Push or Pull technologies and the handheld email clients that support them, Resco Backup and finally we take a peek into Carl's Palm. Over an hour long! Carl's podcasts are very informative specially for those less versed in the Palm's ins-and-outs, but still a great listen for even the hardcore Palm fans. Everytime, I listen to one of his podcast, I discovered something new or something I knew but has forgotten...

It could have been encoded at a little lower bitrate, since spoken word doesn't lose much at lower bitrates... Previous Palmloyal podcast were encoded at 48kbps, but this one is at 128kbps, and at over 60MB, it's a long download for those without broadband.

WOW, your right. This is the first cast encoded on my desktop (the others were on my laptop). The default settings were still in effect. I changed it and it is now: 26668610 KB.
