Can someone give a step by step

I just got my 505 and have downloaded a number of books from the Sony store, but I have now (after reading about them here) started looking at "BOB".
What is the process for purchasing and downloading from this company, do you download software etc? I assume you would download the epub but
can someone give a step by step, I have tried to look it up by the search engine but can't come up with anything specific.

First of all, try to get ePub format whenever possible. BoB and Fictionwise are great, also bookviewcafe.com

Make a folder called eBooks on your desktop. Download and save all of your purchases there.

Open the Sony software, plug in your 505, and import those saved files. Click on the book and drag it to the lefthand column where it says "reader."

That's all there is to it.

I buy books from BoB all the time..I've bought pdf books (contrary to popular belief, I haven't had many problems with format). I downloaded the Adobe Digital Editions, and that is really just like the Sony library. It lists your reader on the left and a list of books on the right and you just drag and drop the books onto your reader. I have it set up to automatically download the ebooks to Adobe Digital Editions. Hope this helps.
