Change Settings on Unregistered K2

Hi everybody!!
Can I change the Settings (Day, Hour, Dictionary, etc) on unregistered K2???
I can't register it, I'm from Spain, and always have the "Registration" message....

Sorry, but you can't change the time. Hopefully they will make this a user setting one day.

That's the problem with Kindle. Most of the applications are for US residents only. I hope they broaden their scope.
