SD Card for Opus
I'm thinking of getting a microSD card for my Opus, but I've got a couple of questions.
Are there any problems with using a SD Card on the new firmware? What's the largest size supported? (Thinking of getting a 2GB one). Any specific brands that work best? |

In theory, it don't support sdhc (most card above 2G), but my 8G works. Any 2G will work. |

Well I got a 2GB microSD card today. Had to ask someone to buy one for me since they were going to a nearby town with some electronic stores. I got robbed on the price (twice the normal online price) but I was impatient and didn't want to wait for shipping.
I've inserted the SD card but it doesn't show any folders. According to the Opus manual it seems as if the Opus is supposed to have created the normal folder structure automatically. Should that be the case or should you have to create the Digital Editions etc. folders yourself? |

Which firmware do you have? Are you using the 1.5/2.0?
Does the SD logo show in the bottom bar? |

I've got the V2 firmware. The SD logo shows at bottom right. PC shows card without any folders on it and 1.8GB space.

Hum? None of my Cybooks (Opus or Gen3) touch my folder structure. I have to create it at the computer.

Does that mean it doesn't automatically create the folders as described in the manual (System, Digital editions, eBooks)?

I don't know, I haven't read the manual. Perhaps at V2.0, I can say it doesn't do it with V1.5

Well, this is what the original manual says (which I assume was valid for 1.9):

I suppose so. So, they have changed the way they treat the card.

Is it normal for the books loaded onto the SD card not to show up in "Library View"?
In "folder view" I can navigate to the SD card and open the books from there. However they don't show up in the "Library view". I've manually created the Digital Editions folder on the SD card and added all the books into subfolders. |

I do have a PDF in eBooks and that also doesn't show in library view. I'm stumped, but it's not a major issue. I mostly use folder view by default so I can learn to live with it. |

it work in both folder. Digital Edition is automaticaly used by ADE that's why they seem to add it.
